Epity Consulting s.r.o. (“Epity”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are registered in the Slovak Republic under IČO: 55560695, with our registered office at Lúčna ulica 9288/24, 917 05 Trnava, Slovakia.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us through our website. This includes:

Contact and enquiry forms. When you submit a form on our website (e.g. to request a Health Check, enquire about our services, or get in touch), we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, role, and any additional details you include in the message field.

Career applications. When you submit an application through our careers page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL, area of expertise, your message describing the value you can bring, and any CV or resume file you choose to attach.

Analytics data.We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It records aggregate, anonymised usage data only — such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic region. No individual visitors are identified or tracked.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data you provide for the following purposes:

To respond to your enquiry. When you submit a contact form, we use your details to respond with relevant information, a scoping proposal, or to schedule a call. A senior partner personally reviews every submission.

To evaluate career applications. When you apply through our careers page, we use the information you provide to assess your suitability for current or future engagements.

To improve our website. We use anonymised analytics data from Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find our site. This data cannot be linked to any individual.

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). We have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and evaluating potential collaborators. We ensure this interest does not override your rights.

Consent. Where you voluntarily submit a form or upload a CV, you consent to us processing that data for the stated purpose.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

We share your data only with the following categories of service providers, who process it on our behalf:

Form processing. We use Formspree to handle form submissions. Formspree processes your data on servers located in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. See their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Website hosting. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) as part of delivering the website. See their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Email delivery. When you request a downloadable resource, we use Resend to deliver it by email. Resend processes your name and email address on our behalf. See their privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and records only anonymised, aggregate data. It is operated by Vercel, our hosting provider, under the same data processing terms.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months from the date of submission, or for the duration of any resulting business relationship, whichever is longer.

Career applications are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to consider you for future engagements. After this period, your data is deleted unless you ask us to keep it on file.

Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. It cannot be linked to individuals and is retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Rectification. You can ask us to correct any inaccurate data.

Erasure. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Restriction. You can ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Portability. You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky) at dataprotection.gov.sk.

8. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Vercel Web Analytics is cookie-free by design.

Our website may use essential technical cookies required for basic functionality (such as session management or form submission). These do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive as they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to service providers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), specifically:

Formspree (United States)— transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Vercel (United States)— technical hosting data is subject to Vercel’s data processing terms.

Resend (United States)— resource-delivery email data is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.

We ensure all transfers comply with GDPR requirements for international data transfers.
